Emily, Ian and I made a music video for a local music artist. The assignment was to make a 30 second video that showed the concept of the real video for the entire song. I really liked this assignment because it was creative and easy to think of ideas for.
At the beginning of brainstorming, Emily and I made a detailed storyboard. It was well thought out and we had a solid plan. Well, like usual, when filming day finally came, the plan crashed and burned and we had to pull some tricks from our sleeves and produced a video. We filmed in downtown Clayton which is one of my favorite places in St. Louis so it made this video all the more enjoyable. Emily and Ian are good friends and they're great to work with. I believe that this video is the beginning of a really fun broadcast team (I miss Reis and Marissa terribly) that will share many adventures in the future. See you on the flip side, Jen Trau

Although the clown is a risky costume to do this year, I attempted to put my makeup skills to the test. I don't have skills so it was an adventure. I think it turned out pretty well, considering my artistic talent.
I liked Emily's voiceover, it was well worded. I edited it and I was content with the final product because it was short video and it covered our point. We could have done a little something more fun with it, perhaps more costumes or a full clown costume. This video is fun and I am proud of the outcome, I am just wanting to do something a little bit bigger with the power of media. See you on the flip side, Jen Trau |
