Over the years, this class has given me amazing friends. This year wasn't an exception. Ian Mason, Chief Meteorologist here at Ladue, became one of my most treasured friends. He is a senior so I sadly had to say goodbye to him last week. His heart is as big as Mount Everest and I respect him and his passion for weather greatly. On most white days, Ian would ask me to help him film his weather newscasts. I would willingly tag along and do the prompter, sound, and cueing for him. I thouroughly enjoyed working with him and having deep talks alone in the studio. He is truly missed ( sounds like he's dead but he's just a grad).
We lost our original studio to the construction this year and have been shoved into a closet for recording announcements. Since our class is small, people had designated jobs. I took the job as the director. Reis kind of left it for me anyway. I really liked being director, I always looked up to Lillian Donahue my freshman year. I am so sad that I won't be here to see the offical new one fall of 2018. See you on the flip side, Jen Trau
